(Newnan, GA, Times-Herald — November 17, 2002) — Members of 21st Century Coweta were wowed last week with a presentation by nNovaTech Research Corp., a Newnan-based startup that is seeking support from the private-public economic development group for its continued growth. nNovaTech is made up of four companies that create solutions for infrastructure, engineering and architectural problems. Newnan-based A-PLUS Technologies Inc. partnered with AADesign LLC of Ellenwood, Custom Engineered Systems (CES) of Atlanta and G3 Communities Inc. of Newnan to form the company. Local High-Tech Companies Join Forces as Team AIRRSS (August 28, 2002) — Four Georgia and one Virginia technology-based companies announced today the establishment of Team AIRRSS, a joint venture formed to develop and implement innovative solutions to a major homeland security issue — law enforcement investigations. AIRRSS (Automated Investigative Request/Response Support System) provides a framework for the sharing of information between all law enforcement agencies within federal, state, and local governments. The AIRRSS solution eliminates the need to restructure existing processes and repositories without compromising the legal constraints for sharing information. (OTC BB: CESY) and A-PLUS Technologies, Inc., today announced that they have entered into an agreement under which A-PLUS will buy Celerity's products and services for use on its Metro Area Networks in the southeastern United States. The agreement also provides A-PLUS with the right to act as a sales agent for Celerity in some opportunities outside their Metro Area Network coverage area.
